Overview
These terms and conditions govern the use of Hotelusso’s hotel booking services and apply to all customers registered on the Hotelusso website. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, together with any additional terms or conditions provided to you during the booking process. You also confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself and all guests named in the booking
By providing your email address, you grant Hotelusso permission to contact you using the provided email address and any other contact details associated with your account for matters relating to your booking, membership, or other services we provide.
Throughout these terms, references to “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Hotelusso Ltd, while references to “you” and “your” refer to the customer making the booking. The term “guest” refers to any person included in a booking, and the term “arrangements” refers solely to the hotel accommodation available for booking on our website at hotelusso.com. The term “deposit” refers to a non-refundable payment made at the time of booking to secure your reservation, which forms part of the total cost of your arrangements.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will still be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
It is important that you carefully read these terms as they set out our respective rights, obligations, and limitations. They also clarify that Hotelusso acts as a third party booking platform, using trusted accommodation Suppliers “Suppliers” to make final reservations on your behalf. Any amendments or cancellations requested by you must be confirmed by the relevant Supplier before they take effect.
Booking Process & Supplier Role
1.1 Hotelusso provides an online platform where customers can search for, compare, and book hotel accommodation supplied by third-party hotels and wholesalers (collectively referred to as “Suppliers”).
1.2 When you make a booking, we transmit your reservation request to the relevant Supplier. In most cases, Supplier confirmation is instant, meaning you will know almost immediately whether your booking is confirmed. Confirmation is indicated by your progression to the booking confirmation screen on our website and will also be sent to you by email to the email address associated with your Hotelusso account. Your booking is not considered final until you receive this confirmation.
1.3 As a third-party booking intermediary, we do not own, manage, or operate any hotels listed on our website. We are not responsible for the quality of the accommodation, the fulfilment of services, or any representations made by the Supplier.
1.4 If you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so via our website using the “My Trips” section. Cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the terms and conditions of your arrangements. The cancellation charges will be the same as those you accepted before confirming the booking, and they will be displayed on your booking confirmation. When cancelling via the website prior to the check-in date, you will be shown the applicable cancellation charges before confirming the cancellation.
In the rare event that you are unable to cancel online, please raise a cancellation request via the Live Chat on our website. You will be informed of any charges before the cancellation is processed. The cancellation request will be considered effective from the date you receive a written confirmation of cancellation from us.
1.5 The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age. Some accommodation Suppliers impose minimum age requirements for check-in or restrict unaccompanied minors or groups of under 18s (including, in some destinations, a minimum check-in age of 21).
It is your responsibility to ensure that all guest(s) meet the age requirements of the chosen accommodation. Where a booking cannot be honoured due to failure to meet the Supplier’s age policy, this will be treated as a no-show or cancellation, and no refund will be due.
1.6 The terms and conditions of each Supplier form part of your contract and may impose additional rules, restrictions, or charges beyond those stated here.

3.5 All users can inform us of any abuse or violation of these conditions via Live Chat. We will verify such reports as soon as possible and take appropriate measures.
3.6 We own, or have licences from third parties to use, all intellectual property rights (including trademarks) covering the texts, photographs, graphic design, navigation structure, writing, appearance, and features on the platform.
3.7 You must not delete or manipulate platform content in any way. You must not monitor, copy, scrape, download, reproduce, or otherwise use any content on the platform for commercial purposes without written consent from us or our licensors.
Annual Membership Fee
4.1 An Annual Membership Fee is payable at the time of your first booking (“Activation Booking”). This fee is non-refundable and provides you with membership benefits for a period of 12 months from the Activation Booking date (“Membership Period”).
4.2 If you make a further booking within your active Membership Period, no additional Membership Fee is charged.
4.3 Unless cancelled before the end of the current Membership Period, your Membership will automatically renew for a further 12-month period, and the applicable Membership Fee will be charged automatically using your saved payment method. You may cancel your Membership at any time via your account profile or by contacting our customer support team through Live Chat. If you cancel before the renewal date, your Membership will remain active until the end of the current Membership Period, and no further Membership Fee will be charged.
Deposit Policy & Payment Terms
5.1 All bookings require a non-refundable deposit which is highlighted at the check-out, payable at the time of reservation.
5.2 This deposit represents administrative, Supplier and platform costs incurred at the time of booking and is therefore non-refundable in all cases, including where the booking is marked as ‘refundable’ by the Supplier.
5.3 For non-refundable bookings, the full booking amount (100%) must be paid at the time of booking, and no refund will be available under any circumstances.
5.4 Where a booking is refundable under the Supplier’s policy, any refund due will be reduced by:
the non-refundable deposit highlighted at the check-out; and
the applicable Membership Fee (if charged for that booking).
5.5 Payment must be made in the currency displayed at the time of booking. For bookings where only the deposit has been paid at the time of reservation, the remaining balance must be settled before the Supplier’s cancellation deadline. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation in accordance with clause 5.6 below.
5.6 Pay Deposit Option – Payment Reminders & Auto Cancellation: For refundable bookings where you select the “pay deposit” option and only pay the deposit at the time of booking, the system will automatically send you three payment reminders before the balance due date. On the final reminder, you will be notified that if payment is not received in full, your booking will be automatically cancelled. In such cases, the non-refundable deposit and any applicable Membership Fee will be retained, and no further liability will be accepted by Hotelusso for the cancelled booking.
Pricing, Fees & Taxes
6.1 Prices shown on our website include VAT (or equivalent) where applicable, unless otherwise stated.
6.2 Additional local taxes, resort fees, or similar charges may be payable directly to the hotel at check-in. These charges are outside our control and are not included in the price you pay us.
6.3 While we strive for accuracy, prices and availability are subject to change until your booking is confirmed by the Supplier. In the event of a pricing error after confirmation, we will contact you to advise of the correct price and give you the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel (with a refund of any amounts paid).
6.4 The final price will be confirmed at the last step of booking.
6.5 An obvious error includes, but is not limited to, prices that are clearly incorrect due to a technical, typographical, or system error and which a reasonable person would recognise as incorrect.
6.6 Some hotels restrict special rates to non-local residents; check the policy before booking.
6.7 Certain Suppliers restrict special or wholesale rates to non-local residents. As a result, our platform pricing is not valid for residents of Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Oman, Tunisia, and the UAE when booking hotels located in those same countries. Bookings made in breach of these restrictions may be cancelled by the Supplier.
Reservation Failures
7.1 Significant hotel changes can occur due to various reasons, including unforeseen circumstances, hotel overbooking, renovations, or operational/destination issues.
7.2 In such cases, we will make every effort to provide you with suitable alternative options. These may include a reduced rate at the original hotel or an alternative hotel in the same area with the same official rating, at no additional cost. Hotel star ratings and classifications are provided by third parties or local authorities and may vary by country.
7.3 If such alternatives are not feasible, we may offer a lower-rated hotel at a reduced rate or provide a full refund for the room, depending on what the Supplier proposes in these instances.
Cancellations, Amendments & No-Shows
8.1 Cancellations must be made via the “My Trips” section of our website. They will only be accepted in accordance with the Supplier’s terms and conditions and will be subject to the cancellation charges you agreed to before confirming the booking, as displayed on your booking confirmation.
8.2 If you cancel via the website prior to your check-in date, the applicable cancellation charges will be shown before you confirm the cancellation.
8.3 In the rare event you are unable to cancel online, you must submit a cancellation request via the Live Chat function on our website. We will advise you of any applicable charges before processing the cancellation. The cancellation will be effective from the date you receive written confirmation from us.
8.4 If your booking is refundable under the Supplier’s policy, any refund will be calculated in accordance with Section 5.4.
8.5 Cancellations cannot be made on or after the day of check-in. In such cases, the booking will be marked as a no-show, and 100% of the total booking cost will be retained.
Refunds and Chargebacks
9.1 Refunds (where applicable) will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking.
9.2 The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the payment provider, but we will initiate any refund due within 14 days of receiving confirmation from the Supplier.
9.3 The deposit and Membership Fee are non-refundable in all cases.
9.4 If you are considering raising a chargeback or payment dispute, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
9.5 In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to accommodation services provided for a specific date or period.
9.6 If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer, this will be treated as a refusal to pay for the booking. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the booking to prevent further loss.
Where a booking is cancelled as a result of a chargeback, the same arrangements may not be available to rebook on the same terms or at the same price. Any cancellation or refund will remain subject to these Terms and the applicable Supplier cancellation policy.
Hotel or Platform Cancellations
10.1 If a hotel cancels your stay, we will find a suitable alternative or offer a refund.
10.2 If you fail to pay or provide valid information, Hotelusso may cancel your booking.
10.3 Fraudulent bookings will be cancelled without notice.
Liability
11.1 Hotelusso’s role is limited to acting as a booking intermediary between you and the Supplier. The legal contract for your accommodation is between you and the Supplier.
11.2 We are not responsible for:
(a) the accuracy of hotel descriptions, images, or facilities provided by the Supplier;
(b) the quality or standard of the accommodation; or
(c) any acts or omissions of the Supplier.
11.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or any booking is limited to the amount you paid to us for the booking in question, less any non-refundable charges.
11.4 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
11.5 Neither we nor the Supplier shall be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, war, or transportation disruptions.
Complaints
12.1 Before you travel: If you have a request or complaint before your departure, please contact our customer service team via the Live Chat.
12.2 During your travel: Contact us via Live Chat.
12.3 After you travel: If you’ve already completed your trip and would like to raise a complaint, please contact us within 21 days of your return date.
Data Protection & Communications
13.1 We process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13.2 By booking through Hotelusso, you consent to the transfer of your personal details to the relevant Supplier for the purpose of fulfilling your reservation.
13.3 We may send you service-related communications (e.g., booking confirmations, payment receipts, membership renewals) without additional consent. Marketing communications will only be sent with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Modifications to Terms
14.1 We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations, legal obligations, or market conditions.
14.2 The latest version will always be available on our website, and any material changes will be highlighted at least 30 days before coming into effect.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
