Atlantis The Royal opened on 10 February 2023 on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, 1.4 km from its older sister, Atlantis, The Palm. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, it rises 43 floors; at opening it was announced with 795 rooms, suites and penthouses, and 44 suites have a private pool.
The draw is the water and the food. There are 90 pools, including Cloud 22, an adults-only (21+) infinity pool on level 22, and a long private beach for hotel guests. Its 17 restaurants and bars include Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Nobu by the Beach, Estiatorio Milos, Ariana’s Persian Kitchen and La Mar by Gastón Acurio.
Every room includes daily breakfast, Aquaventure World waterpark access for each night of the stay, the Lost World Aquarium and the Atlantis Explorers Club for children aged 4 to 12.

What time is check-in at Atlantis The Royal?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested, depending on availability, and may cost extra. You must be 18 or over to book.
Is Aquaventure included at Atlantis The Royal?
Yes. Every room includes Aquaventure World waterpark access for each night of your stay, plus unlimited entry to the Lost World Aquarium. No booking is needed, and you can still use the waterpark on check-out day.
Is Cloud 22 free for hotel guests?
Cloud 22 is an adults-only (21+) pool on level 22, open 10:00 to 19:00, and needs an advance reservation. Atlantis does not say whether entry is free for in-house guests, so ask when you book. Nobu by the Beach pool is free for guests aged 21+.
Does Atlantis The Royal have a kids club?
Yes. The Atlantis Explorers Club takes children aged 4 to 12 free of charge in three daily sessions, from 10:00 to 23:00. Under-4s have a toddler play area where a parent or nanny stays with them, and there is a teens lounge for ages 13 to 17.
How far is Atlantis The Royal from Dubai airport?
About 40 to 60 minutes by taxi from Dubai International (DXB), costing roughly AED 120 to 140. Atlantis says suites and Signature Penthouses include DXB transfers when booked with them, so check what your rate includes. Abu Dhabi airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes away.

The cheapest room we found was a Seascape King Room at £902 a night for 2 adults, breakfast included, for 18 November to 21 November 2026. Suites started at £1,361 and the Sky Pool Villa at £3,198. Prices checked 28 October 2026.
